Eliza Sam. Besides her beautiful smile, she often share posts on her family and her appreciation for life on her Instagram. The hardest thing is to maintain your pure passion and gratitude in the entertainment field, and she completely aced it!
What present do you give for Fairchild TV 25th anniversary?
I would like to dedicate a montage of greetings from Fairchild TV artistes. If it wasn’t for the 25 years of hard work from FTV, they wouldn’t be able to have a platform to showcase their talents.

Who is your female role model and why?
Olympia LePoint. She is a NASA rocket scientist. Despite being born in a poor community, she went against all the challenges, and managed to transform herself from a failing student to an elite rocket scientist with her brilliant mind and determination.
What is the most beautiful object or incident in the world?

The most beautiful thing in the world is the unconditional love and little acts of kindness that you encounter day by day.
Which body parts are you most satisfied with?
My eyes. They are the window to my soul.
Do you have any expectations towards the Pageant?
I hope to get a good ranking, broaden my horizon, understand my perfections and imperfections more and embrace them.

Reasons for joining the Pageant:
I want to let other girls who, like me, are not tall or extremely skinny, know that we are all beautiful in our own ways. We should not be afraid of expressing ourselves to the world. As a public figure, I also wish to raise awareness to people and encourage them to volunteer and give back to the society. I realize that happy life is all about helping others and yourself and I hope more people could experience this.
Why do you think you will excel at this Pageant and be crowned Miss Chinese Vancouver?
I have confidence, kindness, perseverance, and goals worth achieving through the Pageant.
If you won this contest, how, as Miss Chinese Vancouver, would you contribute to the society and the world?
I would use my title to encourage others to participate in charity work. Another contribution I would like to bring forth would be to share my experiences, from being a normal girl to Miss Chinese Vancouver, and that confidence is a skill that everyone could attain. I would also tell teenagers that it is okay to feel lost and unwanted in such a big world. It is not supposed to be easy to find your true calling. The next generation is our future, and I think they need a lot more guidance and better communication in this technology-ridden society.
